Driver Payroll Administrator

THIS position is located at our corporate office in Blaine, WA (appx 100 miles north of Seattle). THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

The main responsibility of the Payroll Administrator is to oversee the payroll procedures, resolve higher-level queries and requests from the management group. Must be capable of multitasking, customer relations and time management.
What Your Day Looks Like:
- Maintenance of driver records within payroll system; ensures accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond to driver inquiries in a diplomatic and efficient manner
- Carry out established rules and policies to ensure consistency in standard, and to protect company interests
- Process driver trip packets daily.
- Perform combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to maintain record in accuracy.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
- Weekly filing and scanning of documents for safe keeping, and code documents for files according to company procedures.
- Pay employees by receiving and verifying expenses, backup documents and requests for advances.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential internally and externally
More About You:
- Transportation payroll experience required
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Microsoft Office and experience in the use of Outlook, Word and Excel is a definite asset.
